RELATED: Warframe: Best Sniper Rifles, Ranked
Sporothrix is one such weapon that players will want to make sure they are obtaining throughout their time on Warframe. While it’s not the most useful weapon in the game, it does have its uses when players reach a certain stage in the game.
What Is Sporothrix?
The Sporothrix is an Infested Sniper Rifle that requires Mastery 13 for players to be able to build and use it. A highly-capable sniper rifle, the Sporothrix has extremely high critical multiplayer and status chance but ridiculously low critical chance. As with any weapon, players can use Warframe’s must-use mods to further enhance its offensive capabilities and make it more viable for end-game content.
The Sporothrix sniper rifle is extremely useful and can be a great addition to a player’s primary weapon arsenal if they tend to enjoy sniper rifle weapon types. As it’s an infested sniper rifle, it is also rare from a lore standpoint, which may interest the more lore-interested players of the game.
How To Get The Sporothrix Sniper Rifle
There are multiple ways players can obtain the Sporothrix, depending on how much time or Platinum they have. As with a lot of things in Warframe, there is an opportunity for choice, which means players aren’t forced into obtaining the weapon in a certain way.
The ’traditional’ method of obtaining the Sporothrix infested sniper weapon is to complete Lvl 50-60 Isolation Vault Bounties in both the Normal and Arcana versions.
Players can begin an Isolation Vault by speaking to Mother of the Entrati in the Cambion Drift open-world game mode. Mother appears both in the Necralisk areas and at various outposts across the Cambion Drift, so players can feel free to approach her at the closest location to where they are.
The drop tables for the Sporothrix components and blueprints can be found on its associated Warframe wikia page. To unlock the Cambion Drift, players must have completed the Heart of Deimos quest in order to gain access to the area.
If players do not feel they have a viable enough loadout to tackle Lvl 50-60 Isolation Vaults or simply want to save time, they can actually use Platinum to trade the components and blueprint from other players. There are multiple ways to earn Platinum in Warframe, so players shouldn’t find it too difficult to get some after playing the game for a while.
All Sporothrix components, as well as its blueprint, are tradeable, which can be useful if the player wants to save time and focus on grinding non-tradeable items.
Warframe was released in 2013 and is available on PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, Xbox One Series S/X, and the Nintendo Switch.
