Walmart is currently offering discounts on select Nintendo Switch games and accessories including a $10 off the pre-order of the upcoming Switch title, Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games. Other highlights of the sale include the Collection of Mana, which is available for $33.84, Dragon Quest Builders 2 for $50.94, and Super Smash Bros. Ultimate for $49.94. Apart from the discounted games, Walmart is also offering extra Joy-Cons at a discount. Normally, a pair of Joy-Cons cost around $79, but Walmart is giving $10-13 off of its list price. Currently, the retailer has the controllers in three color options: Gray ($66.77), Neon Red and Blue ($66.77), and Neon Pink and Green ($69).
Meanwhile, Nintendo streamed a direct presentation yesterday that revealed tons of information about the company’s future plans for its lineup of first and third-party games for the Switch. The company confirmed that Animal Crossing: New Horizons, which is set to release early next year, will feature an 8-player co-op mode. It even released Banjo-Kazooie and revealed Terry Bogard for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate (which is also one of the discounted games). Moreover, several Switch ports of third-party games such as DOOM 64 and Assassin’s Creed Switch Collection have been announced at the presentation.
